  2. Day 1: Tehran

    Today you will make your way to the Airport for your international flight to Tehran, Iran. Upon Arrival at IKA International Airport, meet your tour guide and be transferred to your hotel in the heart of Tehran. Welcome to the capital city, Tehran. A city that is soaked in history and modernity. Today starts with the grand Golestan Palace Complex, where you will enjoy embodying the masterwork of the Qajar era. Next, have free time to be in the Tehran Grand Bazaar. After lunch you visit the National Museum of Iran, displaying the most unique collection of relics and historical archeological objects. In the late afternoon, you visit the remarkable Azadi Tower, the symbolic landmark of Tehran. If time permits, we walk on the longest pedestrian bridge in Iran, Nature Bridge. Overnight: Tehran

  3. Day 2: Abyaneh & Kashan

    This morning starts a breathtaking drive south to Abyaneh. On the picturesque road, your tour guide will accompany you to the must-see sites of the city of Kashan; Commence on a visit to explore the Fin Garden (UNESCO World Heritage Site), which is one of the most beautiful Persian Gardens. continue exploring the inspiring House of Tabatabaei. In the afternoon, you arrive at Abyaneh to wander through this historical red mud village, where the residents still walk in traditional colorful costumes and dresses. Then we continue our journey to Isfahan. Isfahan is located in the green Zayande Rud River and is for many travelers the climax of the journey as the 17th-century capital of the Safavid Empire. There is a lot to see in this beautiful dazzling capital of Ancient Persia. In the afternoon, upon arrival in Isfahan, you can head out to wander around the Zayandeh River Bridges (Si-o-Se Pol and Khaju Bridges) which are the popular meeting points for the locals.   4. Day 3: Isfahan

    This day is devoted to the visiting of the most glorious city of Iran, Isfahan. Immerse in Isfahan's sophisticated beauty and discover first the UNESCO heritage-listed Naghsh-e Jahan Square. It is believed to be the world's second-largest one with four amazing monuments on four sides, Jame Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, and Isfahan Grand Bazaar where you can visit some workshops of artists who paint miniature on camel bone or weave magnificent Persian carpets. In the evening, enjoy visiting the Chehel Sotun Palace Complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site). After a short break for tea and some sweets in one of the most beautiful Traditional Teahouses, you take a relaxing walk through the Isfahan Grand Bazaar and explore elaborate conventional Persian handicrafts, artworks, and lovely souvenirs of the city.   5. Day 4: Meybod

    We start the day early and head out from Isfahan to the desert city of Yazd. Stopping off at the fascinating ancient town of Meybod along the way. This town offers several fascinating sites to visit, including its wonderful Caravanserai, the Old Town, and the Pigeon Tower. Then drive to Yazd, one of the most attractive cities in Persia. The ancient desert city of Yazd is well-known for its unique desert architecture, considered by UNESCO as one of the oldest towns on Earth. In the evening, we go to the most eye-catching areas of Yazd, Jame Mosque, and Fahadan. Overnight: Yazd

  6. Day 5: Yazd

    After breakfast, you will start the morning of your city tour right with an exploration of a mind-bending highlight in Yazd. The Zoroastrian religion also survives here where you visit a unique Temple of Eternal Fire. Then we visit one of the Persian gardens in Yazd, Dowlat Abad. Afterward, you set out for the old Towers of Silence on the edge of the city, where in the past decades, the bodies of deceased Zoroastrians were placed and exposed to hunter birds. Overnight: Yazd

  7. Day 6: Shiraz

    You will leave the Yazd behind and drive to Shiraz. This remarkable day starts with the oldest Persian highlights; Pasargadae (UNESCO World Heritage Site) which Cyrus, the Great King of the Achaemenes, built this complex in the 6th century BC. After that your guide will lead you through Persian history in Persepolis (UNESCO World Heritage Site) You can walk through all the palaces in Persepolis and immerse yourself in millennia of history and the tunnel of time. Then, you will continue driving to Shiraz and stay at your hotel. Overnight: Shiraz

  8. Day 7: Shiraz

    You will take a full day of sightseeing to explore both the past and present of Shiraz today. The morning will be dedicated to discovering the colorfully decorated Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque (the Pink Mosque). Next, you will have time to explore and shop in the bustling Vakil Bazaar. Next is a beautiful visit to the Naranjestan Garden, a shining gem among all the typical Persian Gardens in Shiraz with its orange and palm trees. In this most elegant city with many exciting tourist attractions to visit, you will admire the Tomb of the great Persian mystic poet Hafez with its charming gardens. Time permitting; the rest of the afternoon, a visit to Hamzeh shrine, a revered Shia shrine noted for the glittering mirror work adorning its central blue dome and Pink Lake. After admiring the landmarks of Shiraz, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.

  9. Day 8: Last Day

    Today marks the end of your tour to Persia. We hope to enjoy the time in Iran with Shahrzadbaal Travel.
