DAY 2: ISFAHAN SIGHTSEEING
This day is devoted to the exploration of the most glorious city of Iran, Isfahan. Following breakfast, your guide leads you on a fascinating sightseeing tour around the most brilliant attractions of historical sites. Immerse in Isfahan’s sophisticated charms and discover the UNESCO heritage-listed Naghsh-e Jahan Square, the world’s second-largest one with four amazing landmarks on four sides, Imam Mosque, the exquisite Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, and Isfahan Bazaar. Thereafter, you can head out to wander around the Zayandeh River Bridges (Si-o-Se Pol and Khaju Bridges) which are the favorite meeting location for the locals. After the excursion in this city, you will return to your hotel to take the rest of the day free. O/N in Isfahan.
Day 3: ISFAHAN SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, you meet your tour guide at the hotel lobby and go on a guided city tour of the magnificent Isfahan located in the lush plain of the Zayande Rud River. This beautiful city was the 17th-century capital of the Safavid Dynasty. Upon Arrival in Isfahan, you start your exploration of Chehel Sotoun Palace, this graceful pavilion that Shah Abbas II built for court receptions. After a short break for tea and some sweets in one of the most beautiful traditional teahouses, you take a relaxing walk through the Isfahan Bazaar and explore elaborate traditional Persian handicrafts, artworks and lovely souvenirs of the city. DAY 4: ISFAHAN – YAZD (330 KM)
We start the day early and head out from Isfahan on a four-hour drive east to the desert city of Yazd. Stopping off at the fascinating ancient city of Naein along the way. This city also offers a number of fascinating sites to visit including its ancient mosque and the old town. Then continue your trip to Yazd, one of the most alluring cities in Persia. The ancient desert city of Yazd is well-known for its unique desert architecture and wind towers, regarded by UNESCO as one of the ancient towns on Earth, perfectly adapted to the harsh weather conditions of the surrounding desert. The Zoroastrian religion also survives in here where you visit the temple of Eternal Fire; Afterward, you set out for the old Tower of Silence on the edge of the city, where in the past centuries Zoroastrians left the dead bodies to decompose and later be devoured by vultures. In Amir Chakhmaq Complex, you admire a very impressive square and portal for Shia commemoration ceremonies. Then in the old historical Fahadan District, you have the chance to wander through the labyrinthine alleys of the old town and visit the Friday Mosque, a 15th-century mosque with the tallest minarets in Persia. DAY 5: YAZD – SHIRAZ (440 Km)
You will leave the Yazd behind and drive to Shiraz, This memorable day takes you to one of the oldest Persian highlights; Pasargadae was once the capital city of the Achaemenid Empire, and Cyrus, the Great King of the Achaemenes, built this palatial complex in the sixth century BC.
DAY 6: SHIRAZ SIGHTSEEING (100 Km)
This memorable day takes you first to three wonderful Persian highlights. Your guide will lead you through 2500 years of Persian history Persepolis which was once the ceremonial capital of the Achaemenid Empire. Darius the Great founded this palatial complex in the 6th century BC. You can Pass through all palaces there in Persepolis and immerse yourself in millennia of history and the tunnel of time. Proceed to Naghshe Rostam, the ancient Achaemenid necropolis and Sassanian rock relief. Then, you move to Shiraz, this most elegant city, and visit the Quran Gate. Next is the visit to the Tomb of the Persian mystic poet Hafez with its beautiful gardens. Thereafter, you will have time to explore and shop in the bustling Vakil Bazaar. The afternoon continues with discovering the colorfully decorated Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque (the Pink Mosque), where sunlight streams through its extensive colored glasses and windows. Time permitting; the rest of the afternoon a visit to Hamzeh shrine, a revered Shia shrine noted for the glittering mirrorwork adorning its central dome. After admiring the landmarks of Shiraz, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flights home.
DAY 7: DEPART FOR HOME
After one final breakfast at the hotel, you will be met for your private transfer to the airport and your flight home.
