Isfahan was well known as the Half of the World in its flourished days in 16th and 17th Century. But in its rich history had been once the capital of Iran during 12th century. Today will discover the ancient quarter of the city, visiting Jameh Atigh Mosque, also known as Friday mosque. After a small walk through the Bazaar visiting the spice Bazaar and get familiar with different kinds of the local spices in Iran. Lunch will be at Isfahan’s oldest restaurant, Shahrzad Restaurant; where is almost full by local people enjoying the food and its beautiful Persian decoration. After lunch will visit the Persian garden of Chehelsotoon Palace, back to the square and enjoy the sunset from the terrace of the square drinking local tea of Isfahan.
Today will visit a traditional house of the city to learn how to cook the most famous typical dish of Isfahan; the famous Beryan. After cooking and enjoying the lunch there, will visit the historical bridges of the city for the afternoon and will taste Saffron ice-cream next to the bridge. (Sioseh Pol and Khajou bridges will be visited.
Today will discover the heart of the city; the second largest square in the world: Naghsh-e Jahan Square with its belonging unique monuments: Jameh Abbasi Mosque, Ali Qapou Palace, Sheikh Lutfallah Mosque and all constructed in 17th century. For the afternoon will visit the craziest teahouse of Isfahan, Azadegan teahouse (known as Chah Haj Mirza by locals) and will taste a rare and delicious combination of a sweet snack with a salty drink. (dogh va Goshfil). This one is one of the most popular snacks that special Isfahanies come and have it.
- Lunch will be at a traditional house with live music and close to the square. (Ghasr-e Monshi Mansion)
Visiting the Armenian quarter with its special Vank Cathedral and will be hosted by an Armenian family to taste and learn about their gastronomy. For the afternoon will visit the Music Museum to get familiar with Iranian national and local music instruments.
